29/08/2001 Settlers near Wisnowiec Don Dudley
My grandfather (Jan Norek) received farmland about 5 km. from Wisnowiec in 1921. My mother's family (my grandfather, grandmother, mother, her sister and baby brother) were taken on 2/10/40 to Russia. My grandfather fought in General Anders' army, and they all eventually came to Buffalo, NY. I have some stories from my mom, but unfortunately never discussed this in detail with my grandfather. I wish I had.
